Ben Welsh, photographer who works frequently in Marbella, Malaga and Andalusia, joined pilates instructor Ana Duran to film and produce this video. The idea was to show the purity of pilates exercises in one of the most splendid locations in Marbella.
The Marbella Club Hotel is one of the iconic luxury resorts in Marbella, Malaga, in the south of Spain. Located on "La Costa de Sol" on the "golden mile" close to the famous Puerto Banús, it has included special guests like Ava Gardner, Cary Grant or Audrey Hepburn. The hotel has 121 bedrooms and suites, distributed though 42.000 square meters of gorgeous gardens that reach the coastline. The Marbella Club also has a private 18 hole golf course, designed by Dave Thomas.
Ben used two specific video cameras to film this footage in the Marbella Club. For the pier going into the sea, were Ana was exercising, Ben Welsh piloted a Drone to film her from different angles and heights. One of the best views was of the drone coming in from the sea towards her, creating a peaceful and relaxing mood. Although the pier is not private property of the hotel, it is a bonus for their clients. The other camera was a DJI Osmo, which is basically a camera with a gimbal that stabilizes the footage while in movement and films at 4k and also shoots RAW files.
